What- A friendly spoken word club in a relaxed lounge environment. The emphasis is on oral storytelling, but monologues, poetry and anecdotes are all welcome.

Who- Regular tellers are Moe Keast, Mike O'Connor, and Barbara Griggs. Trev Lawrence and Liz Berg often drop by. All are welcome as performers or as listeners.

Where- The back room of the Mason's Arms, Higher Bore Street, Bodmin, PL31 1JS (can be accessed from Hillside Park.)

When- 8 p.m. on the last Monday of the month.

How Much- There is no charge, but a donation of £1 or over is appreciated - the funds help guest artists visit Cornwall.

Special Event. On Wednesday 27 Jun it’s Flamank Day in Bodmin. There will be a short ceremony at the memorial on the old Town Wall at about 7 pm (diagonally across the corner from the mason’s Arms) followed by sociable Songs Stories and pasties in the Masons Arms, all welcome.
